Who Is Association & Society Insurance Corporation?
Association & Society Insurance Corporation (ASI), located in
Rockville, Maryland, is a third party insurance administrator
and a pioneer in the design and marketing of TRICARE Supplement
Programs since 1975. Initially, marketing was conducted through
military associations, like the American Military Retirees Association,
the Retired Association for the Uniformed Services and the Uniformed
Services Benefit Association. Later, other groups were added such
as the Pentagon Federal Credit Union, one of the largest military
credit unions in the nation. ASI currently serves over 30 national
members' organizations ranging from professional and fraternal to
financial institutions.
As an administrator, ASI handles all medical claim payments, issues
certificates, bills and collects premiums, and provides
customer service ... all the functions normally performed by a large
insurance company.
